Public Health Detailing: Overview & Lessons from the Field
The National Resource Center for Academic Detailing will present a basic introduction to academic detailing and its context for use in primary care settings. The San Francisco Department of Public Health and New York City Department of Hygiene and Mental Health will provide overviews of their respective detailing programs including design, staffing, creation of key messages, training of staff, and development of toolkits and materials. The health departments will also summarize how they identified target providers, and data collection and evaluation methods. Challenges and lessons learned will also be shared.
This webinar is intended to serve as a resource and orientation for jurisdictions attending the Public Health Detailing Institute in San Francisco on February 14-16, 2018.
