5,000 Walmart Pharmacies Join National “Ready, Set, PrEP” HIV Program

Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Albertson’s pharmacies have announced that they will donate their dispensation services with “Ready, Set, PrEP”, and participant prescription refills will be free.  Advocates hope this will allow the program to increase the registered participants, after initially low numbers.  With the addition of these 5,000 new pharmacies,  nearly half of all U.S. pharmacies now take part in the program.
