The getSFcba team is collaborating with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and California Prevention Training Center (CAPTC) to strengthen client-centered HIV prevention efforts within the state of Michigan’s disease intervention/partner services and PrEP navigation services.
The collaboration will host two in-person skills building institute in September 2025 for Western and Southeastern Michigan regions to strengthen client-centeredness, increase capacity of motivational interviewing, enhance communication of preventive measures such as PrEP, PEP, and Doxy PEP to clients, and increase collaboration amongst disease intervention specialist/partner services and PrEP navigation services.
